We would like to thank you for registering for the Louisiana APWA Conference; however we regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel this event. We looked forward to a successful weekend, but due to low attendee response we came to the conclusion that it was better to cancel the conference than to put on anything less than the best.
 
We believe the low attendee response is due to the fact that many Departments of Public Works in South Louisiana are still coping with the effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
 
Thanks for understanding our position in this situation. Please look for future educational opportunities offered by the APWA. Also, Louisiana will be hosting the international APWA conference in New Orleans in August of 2008. Hopefully, you and/or your company will consider joining us for these upcoming events!
